Our products
Our clothing is made exclusively from natural materials such as cotton, linen and bamboo. The buttons on the Helena blouse and Athena blouse are made from wood and coconut.
Natural fibers are much more sustainable than synthetic fibers. They do not harm our environment in their production, cultivation or production. They are also not harmful to the health of the people who work with these materials. Natural materials are also much more environmentally friendly than chemical fibers because they do not release microplastics into the groundwater during the washing process.
Organic cotton is mainly used for the clothing. However, due to a lack of certification, we are not allowed to use the term organic cotton for our fabrics. The price of the fabric would increase significantly, especially in Thailand, which is why many growers decide against the certificate in order to remain marketable.
We work with various designers who are in contact with the local production facilities. A large proportion of our products are made by seamstresses in Thailand who sew clothes from home at their own pace without stress. Another large proportion is produced in boutique tailoring in Turkey. In addition, we work with brands that represent our corporate values and fit the ATYRA mission. In the future, products from other brands that complement our own range well will also be added to the shop. Our manufacturers work in a relaxed manner and without time pressure. They can organize their time themselves and work flexibly as much as they want. Since our seamstresses in Thailand are paid per garment, the pay is variable, but above average for local conditions. In total, they earn 2-3x as much as seamstresses in a factory. In addition, they do not just sew one component - for example, just buttons all day - but the entire garment from A to Z, which is of course more fun and fulfilling than repetitive work. They usually sew 2-3 garments per day. The boutique tailors in Turkey are independent studios that sew high-quality natural clothing for us in small quantities on commission. It is important to us not to work with factories, as a relaxed working setting is important to us and we want the same for
all people who work with us want. The boutique studios and in-house sewing rooms are lovingly furnished places where people feel comfortable and enjoy their work.

Since all products are handmade, it can happen that a seam is sewn incorrectly or that the product has other small defects. Before we ship the goods, we carry out a thorough quality control. If we overlook a defect, please contact us and we will find an individual solution. We sell products in which we discover defects at a lower price. We will let you know this on Instagram in the @ atyra.official story and give you the opportunity to get individual items at a discount of up to 50%.
You can find the exact care instructions for each product in the respective product description. In general, however, your clothes will last longer if you treat them gently. Cotton and linen can be ironed without any problem. When washing, please make sure not to mix colors and turn your clothes inside out. If possible, hand washing is the most sustainable option. Muslin clothing in particular can tear when spun in the washing machine and should therefore only be washed by hand or on a gentle cycle.
Except for the Venus dress (which comes in 2 sizes), we produce everything in one size. The exact sizes vary from product to product. You can find the respective sizes in the product descriptions. Because our pants have an elastic waistband and we attach great importance to airy and loose clothing, many products fit up to size 44/46, for example the muslin pants, Helena blouse and the Athena blouse. This top even fits you up to size 48/50.
Our jewelry is made by artisans in the South of France.
Our jewelry is gold-plated and all gold plating will wear off eventually. Unless you are wearing pure gold. Depending on how thick the gold plating is, it will last longer. You can read about what type of gold plating was used in the product descriptions, as well as precise care instructions for your piece of jewelry.
The durability of the jewelry depends on how well you care for it. This includes, for example, taking it off when washing your hands, showering, applying cream and cleaning. If gold-plated jewelry is very worn, you can have the gold plating renewed by a jeweler.
It is normal for gold plating to fade after a certain period of time and reveal the silver or brass underneath. To ensure that you can enjoy your piece of jewellery for as long as possible, we recommend that you avoid contact with chemicals, fats (eg oils or creams), perfume, hairspray and other cosmetics.
Remove jewelry before exercising, cleaning, swimming, going to the sauna, etc. Avoid contact with salt water. We recommend storing jewelry separately so that the different metals do not rub against each other.

You have the right to return the goods within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which the goods were delivered to you.

Returns from Switzerland and other non-EU countries: Any additional costs such as
Customs clearance fees or cash on delivery costs and the collection of packages from the customs office are not paid; we do not accept such packages. Please ensure that your return is correctly declared for customs and tax purposes (ask your post office for information on this) or, ideally, send the return to us from within the EU.
Costs for return shipments due to incorrect address or late collection from the parcel shop are to be borne by the customer, as we cannot accept liability for the fault of third parties. Damaged (use-related) goods cannot be returned or exchanged. If we receive goods after the deadline has expired or they are damaged through use, we cannot accept the return.
Shipment
We ship with DHL Go Green and try to use packaging material as sparingly as possible and recycle as much as possible. We also use unbleached stickers made from grass paper and cards made from recycled paper. If you would like to help us become even more sustainable and would like a recycled box, please indicate this in a note.
We ship to all countries within Europe and to the USA.
That depends on where you are. DHL usually picks up orders from us 2-3 times a week, and they then take a maximum of 3 working days (in Germany) and up to a week (Europe) to reach you.
